On plott LIFE, it varies by listing.
Among private-host listings in Sokcho, some have no deposit and others require ₩330,000.
Some direct-managed homes have no deposit for stays of 1–3 weeks, but require one for stays of 4 weeks or more.
For example, the beachside studio above (direct-managed) requires a ₩730,000 deposit for stays of 4 weeks or more. It’s fully refunded after checkout.

A stay in Sokcho can stretch to two or three months, so paying a large amount upfront can be a lot to manage.

With plott LIFE, you can split the cost into monthly payments for stays of 28 days or more.

This option isn’t available on 33m2.
33m2 charges the full amount upfront and doesn’t support split payments.

Let’s say you book the beachside studio above (direct-managed) for 8 weeks (two months).
For stays of 8 weeks or more, rent is ₩143,000 per week and utilities are ₩30,000 per week.
The 8-week total is (₩143,000 + ₩30,000) × 8 weeks = ₩1,384,000.
If you booked a home at the same price on 33m2, you’d pay the full 8 weeks at the time of booking.
With plott LIFE, assuming you split the payments into 4-week installments for a stay of 28 days or more, you’d pay ₩692,000 twice.

How can I stay in Sokcho for more than 3 months?

On 33m2, a single booking can be up to 12 weeks. To stay longer, you’ll need to arrange an extension.
On plott LIFE, your total stay can be extended up to 28 weeks, depending on the home.

Extensions require a new contract, agreed on with the host in advance.
Extensions may not be possible if another guest is waiting to book, so we recommend talking with your host at least 2 weeks before checkout.

Can I register my address at a month-long stay in Sokcho?

It depends on the listing. plott LIFE direct-managed homes don’t support address registration; for private-host listings, the host decides.
Most homes on 33m2 don’t allow it either, and private hosts make the decision for each listing.
