Waiting days for your Zigbang short-term rental payout?

You’ve booked a Zigbang short-term rental, but if you’re not sure when the payout will arrive, it’s easy to keep checking your bank account.

“It’s been days since move-in. Why hasn’t it arrived?”

“Did I miss something?”

Zigbang starts processing your payout after move-in is confirmed. It can also be held up by bank account or identity verification issues.
To get paid sooner, you can’t speed up the transfer itself. What you can do is trigger the payout sooner and prevent common delays.
Here are 5 tips based on Zigbang’s official landlord FAQ to help keep your payout on track.

What to know about Zigbang short-term rental payouts

When does payout processing start?

It starts once move-in is confirmed.
The tenant can tap [Move in], or move-in is confirmed automatically 24 hours after the scheduled move-in time.
After confirmation, bank transfers arrive within 2 business days. Card payments can take up to 7 business days, depending on the card issuer.

How long the transfer takes depends on the payment method, so landlords can’t shorten that part.
You can help the process start sooner and clear anything that could hold it up.

5 tips to get your Zigbang payout sooner

① Add your payout account when you approve your first booking

Zigbang asks you to add a payout account when you approve your first booking.
Your payout may be put on hold if you haven’t added one.
Don’t leave it for later—add it as soon as you’re asked.

② Complete Toss Payments identity verification as soon as you get the link

After you add your payout account, Toss Payments, which handles payouts, sends an identity verification link via KakaoTalk.
Individual landlords and sole proprietors must complete verification to receive payouts.
An incomplete identity check is one of the easiest payout delays to prevent.
If the link won’t open or hasn’t arrived, contact support in the Zigbang app.

③ Use a payout account in your own name

The account holder’s name must match the landlord’s name.
You can’t receive payouts to someone else’s account, and accounts with a different name may be rejected.
Trying to use a family member’s or friend’s account can delay your payout.

④ If you’re a business, add your business details in advance

Zigbang doesn’t have a separate sign-up process for corporations.
To receive payouts as a business, including a corporation, add your business name, representative’s name, and business registration number under Settings > Business & bank account details.
Don’t wait until just before your first payout—get everything in order before accepting a booking.

⑤ Set a realistic move-in time as early as possible, and remind tenants to confirm move-in

Payout processing starts when move-in is confirmed, so an earlier move-in time can get it started sooner. (Based on Zigbang’s official guidance.)
Only set a time that matches when your guest can actually move in.
A quick reminder to tap [Move in] after arrival can complete confirmation sooner, without waiting for the automatic check 24 hours later.

If your payout is already delayed

What if my payout is on hold?

If there’s an issue with your bank account, you’ll be asked to verify it again.
Add a new account and complete identity verification, and the payout will be processed again automatically.

Can a dispute or deposit process delay my payout?

Yes. Zigbang says payouts may be delayed while a dispute or deposit process is underway.
Changing your bank account won’t resolve this. Check the app for updates until the process is complete.

Still not sure what’s causing the delay?

Check, in order, whether move-in is confirmed, your bank account is verified, and identity verification is complete.
If you still can’t find the cause, contact support in the Zigbang app.
