SamSam M2 short-term rentals: do you have to pay all the monthly rent at once — an alternative if you book 28+ days
Worried about having to pay the whole rent upfront when converting a short-term stay into a longer one?
“Gathering several months’ rent at once is a big burden.”
“It’d be much easier if I could split the payments each month.”
At plott LIFE, if you book 28 days or more you can pay the rent monthly.
This option isn’t available on SamSam M2.
Here’s a clear rundown of how monthly billing works and how it differs from SamSam M2.
Do you really have to pay short-term rent all at once?
Do you have to pay short-term rent in one lump sum?
It depends on the contract length.
For stays under 28 days, the full rent is charged at the start of the booking.
For stays of 28 days or more, you don’t pay the full amount upfront—you can pay monthly instead.
What changes once it’s 28 days or more?
From the moment the booking reaches 28 days, rent switches to monthly billing.
You won’t need to prepare several months’ rent in advance—just pay that month’s rent on the set date each month.
Whether you stay one month or several, you won’t face the same large upfront burden.
Monthly billing — an option SamSam M2 doesn’t offer
SamSam M2 requires full payment of the total rent at the time of booking, no matter how long the stay is.
For example, if you book 3 months (90 days) with SamSam M2, you must pay all 3 months’ rent at the time you book.
By contrast, plott LIFE lets you pay just that month’s rent each month if the stay is 28 days or more—no need to prepare 3 months’ rent in advance.
